House fire

I was barley out of the house when I saw a glimpse of it. It was an orange blazing fire sweeping over our house and lighting up the night. I heard the blasting sirens of the fire trucks shrill through the quiet night. I could smell the ash that was being shot out of the orange blaze. I could taste the cold still air that surrounded the fire. I saw the orange fire take down my house In a sweep. I could feel the intense heat coming out the center of it all. The whole world was silent apart from the sound of burning wood, and the fire men’s voices who seem to be blanked out by the enormous flame.

San Antonio Tournament

My hoops team went to a big State tournament in San Antonio this year. We placed 2nd loosing in the championship to a team from Waco. We went 4-1 Overall, and beat teams from, Clear lake, Waco, Fort Worth and Austin. All though we lost it was the best tournament I’ve ever played in. Our team was mostly Hill Country, with me Andrew, Grayson, and Blake as our reserve. We started off well beating Clear Lake by 23 points on Friday. After beating the Waco Bad boys by 3 on Saturday morning we knew we were Bracket Bound after that. We then beat Wildcats Navy by 35 points. We then played wildcats White and beat them by 41. That night we went swimming and had a party hoping to win the championship the next day. We were not concerned about loosing until We barley beat the Fort worth hornets but 3, a game we should of won by more. We saw the Bad boys play the Jammers, that game was a blowout. The Bad boys won by 19, and were destined to meet us in the championship. We thought we were going to win until They came out firing nailing 3 threes in a row. we played without a doubt one of the worst halves of our lives.
